So, here it is folks.   The first blog post on our new site.  I'm really excited about what we can do on this new site.   The biggest advantage is that anyone can update it.   I'm very hopeful that we can get a handful of people to help keep the site updated.   By keeping the site updated it will seem more current and alive.  We can use it as a resource to update people on what is going on with things like the Easter egg hunt or Nicaragua missions trip.   The way it works is simple.  There are three steps.

1.) Log-in to the bottom left of the page

2.) You will see a new menu at the bottom.  Click Submit an Article

3.) Write your posting.  You can add images, links, lists and tables with the cool editor.

4.) Select a section or category.  Articles tagged with "Blog" in Section and Category will show up on this page.   Articles tagged with "Event" will be linked from Upcoming Events on the left menu.

BTW, that read more was kind cool wasn't it?  If you have a longer blog, just press the read more button and it will do this for you.   Whoa!
